Caroline Wozniacki has decided that this week is just going to be amazing for her. The reason is quite simple – the Family Circle Cup. The Polish tennis player did not expected to get knocked out of the Sony Open that soon, so she had to feel the void with something else. The Family Circle Cup was just what she needed now to redeem her best form and “kill” some time before the humanitarian trip that was on her schedule, but was postponed till later. As there is still plenty of time before the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, she decided to practice tennis elsewhere.
The Family Circle Cup might not be the top-rate event, but there are quite decent players like the former champion Silvia Soler-Espinosa. Too bad, she could not have done anything against Wozniacki and lost both sets with the same score 6-1. It was the sixth victory in a row for the Polish tennis player and she is confidently moving to the finals.
Wozniacki is not the only high-rate tennis player to participate in Family Circle Cup. Venus Williams won in 2004. Wozniacki has told the press that wants is really looking forward to winning the cup, because it is a lot of fun for her to play tennis now. She also said that she is pretty confident about her form and playing good tennis and feels less pressure than watching her boyfriend Rory McIlroy compete of the golf course, because she could not do anything about it. No matter how things are going to go for Wozniacki at Family Circle Cup, her plans involve cheering up for McIlroy at Augusta National Masters Tour.
